Bashir A. Idris Animashaun, The
Executive Chairman attended King’s College, Lagos and is a graduate of
Economics from Manchester University. He once worked in the Federal Civil
Service as Administrative Officer from where he resigned to join Enterprise
De Company Limited in 1963. He became a Director and Company Secretary
of Academy press from its inception in 1964 and was appointed its Managing
Director in 1968 and Executive Chairman in 1978. He retired from the Executive
responsibility in 1996 and was consequently appointed as Non- Executive
Chairman. However, as part of the on going restructuring of the business,
he was recalled by the Board in October 1999 to once again assume the
Chief Executive responsibility of the Company. He is also the Chairman
of West African book Publishers, Academy Press Business Forms Limited,
Lithotec Limited and Academy Computers Limited, He is on the Board of
other organisations. He was a one-time Chairman of Lagos State Development
and Property Corporation. He is currently the Chairman Siemens Nigeria
Limited.

RICHARD
B. GAMBLE is a graduate
of Princeton, Columbia and California Universities.The Prime mover, and
founding father of the Company. Richard Gamble was the first Executive
Chairman of Academy Press Plc and one of the early foreign investor in
post-independence Nigeria. He set up Enterprise Development Company (Nigeria)
Limited in 1961 and lived in Nigeria with his family from 1961 to 1970.
He was one of the founding Directors of American International School
Lagos and a Council member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. Now
living in Cambridge Boston, Massachusetts, USA, he is currently a Director
and Treasurer of International Women’s Coalition headquarters in New York
City, a Director and President of the learning project Elementary School
in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and a Director and Chairman of the Executive
Committee of the International Peace Academy headquarters in New York
City and President of the Pathfinder International in Boston.

MARTIN G. W. GOODMAN Director and overseas representative of Academy Press Plc. Educated at Marlbourough College, Wiltshire and South Down College, Havant. He is a director of Hambleside Limited, U.K., technical partners to Academy Press Plc. He joined Hambleside in 1979 and has held various positions before he was appointed to their board of directors in 1987. His first visit to Nigeria and Academy Press was in 1980, and has been responsible for procurement of raw materials as well as providing technical support to Academy Press since that date. Mr. Goodman is a member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supplies in the U.K.

PROFESSOR
AKIN MABOGUNJE is the Pro-Chancellor
and Chairman of the Governing Council of Ogun State University and was
for many years the Professor and Head of Department of Geography at the
University of Ibadan. A recipient of the Nigerian National Merit Award,
he has also served as a member of many national and international organizations.
He is currently Chairman of the National Board for Community Banks.

SIMEON
O. OGUNTIMEHIN is among the forerunners
of Accountancy profession in Nigeria. A fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Nigeria of which he was also a past president. He was for
many years a Principal Partner of Z. O. Ososanya & Co. one of the
foremost accounting firms in Nigeria. He is currently engaged in private
business concern. His appointment into the Board has impacted positively
on the development of the Company.

BABATUNDE
J. FASHANU The Executive director
Marketing. He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University and Lagos Business
School. He holds a Bsc. Degree in Industrial Design and a Professional
Diploma in Marketing. He is a member of Advertising Practitioners Council
of Nigeria and British Institute of Printing. He joined Academy Press
in 1984 as a production Planning officer. In 1989, he was seconded to
Lithotec Limited as a Customer Service Manager and later became the Marketing
Manager; he was appointed as the General Manager in 1994, a position he
held before he was appointed an Executive Director in 2001, a position
he held until he was redeployed to Academy Press to manage the sales activities.
He is married with children.

| OLUGBENGA LADIPO The Executive Director, Finance and Administration. He is a qualified Accountant. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. Holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Lagos State Polytechnic. He joined Academy Press Plc as Head, Accounts in 1998 from a background of over ten years post qualification professional experience both in practice with one of the top practising firms and in industry with one of the top multinationals in the food and Beverages Industry. He has assisted in repositioning the financial functions of the Company to meet the modern day challenges. He is married with children

| TUNJI IDRIS-ANIMASHAUN The Executive Director, Operations. He is an alumnus of the University of lbadan, the University of Essex, England and the Surrey European Management School, University of Surrey, Guildford, England. He holds a Bsc in Computer Science, Postgraduate Diploma in financial and business Economics and an Msc in Management respectively. He is a member of the Institute of Export in the U. K. He joined Academy Press in 2000 as the Executive Assistant to the Consultant from a background of five years in the Banking Industry and a couple of years in the Computer Vending/Marketing business. He is married with children
